I contacted Competition Truck Repair regarding a diagnostic visit for my New Holland B90B backhoe located in Pinnacle, NC. I spoke with Christina and explained the issues I was having with the machine. I was assured that a technician would be at my job site on Tuesday at 4:00 PM. I provided the serial number and all requested information and specifically explained that I live in Cary, approximately 2.5 hours away, and wanted to make sure the appointment was confirmed before making the trip. On the scheduled day, I left Cary at 12:30 PM and arrived at the property around 3:15 PM. After waiting until 4:30 PM with no technician arriving, I called the office. I was told someone would contact the technician and call me back. No one did. I called again around 5:30 PM and was told a technician had allegedly called me the previous evening from an unknown number. I receive many spam calls and do not typically answer unknown numbers, but no voicemail was left, no text message was sent, and no email was sent. Had a voicemail been left, this entire situation could have been avoided. As a result, I spent approximately eight hours of my day driving and waiting, burned roughly $100 in fuel, a

Definitely one of the better shop experiences I've had. My 2018 dd15 cascadia came in derated with some def / dpf codes, diagnostic was pretty quick, they explained in detail what needed to be done and why. After repairs I did get a little anxious when the truck took longer than expected to verify the repair to clear the derate code, but everything cleared and is up and running. They can do everything a dealership can (short of rewriting software) at a better price.

I am forever greatful for Josh and Dustin. I came in at 10pm on a Friday with some electrical issues that were throwing faults on my 2018 Freightliner Cascadia. I was pulled in quickly and got diagnosed. Problem was found and fixed all before midnight. The convince of being able to get into an after hours shop was excellent in my book. I will definitely be returning for any maintenance on my truck!
